Dave Scherping Motorcycle Accident, Death – A former deputy of the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office passed away this weekend in a motorcycle accident in Sherburne County, and the department is mourning his passing. The current K-9 handler for the organization, Deputy Austin Scherping, is the son of former Morrison County deputy Dave Scherping, who also handled dogs, according to the sheriff’s office.
