
Clifford Kaufman Obituary, Death – The death of Clifford Kaufman was a shock to everyone. On June 13, 1959, he wed Gail Nemecek in Capac. The ceremony took place. Between the years 1951 and 1953, Clifford proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army in Korea with the 73rd Combat Engineers.
For a good number of years, he was the sole proprietor of Kaufman’s Garage and also a co-owner of Romeo Transportation. He hung up his Welch Trucking hat and retired. After he had retired, he went to work for Siegel Sand & Gravel as a crane operator.
Surviving in addition to his wife Gail of nearly 49 years are a brother, Donald Kaufman, sisters, Betty Klug, Phyllis (William) Stroup, Nancy Clark, Janet and Huey Langley; sister-in-law, Joyce Kaufman; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Isabelle Nemecek; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Carlton Elliot and several nieces, nephews and friends and Niki Ferguson.
He was predeceased in death by his brothers Fordyce and Ronald, his brother-in-law Hillyard Klug, and his sister-in-law Anne Kaufman. He also had brothers and sisters-in-law named David (Alice) Nemecek and Richard Nemecek, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law named Johanna and John Proppe, Janet and Tony Zientak, Marilyn Rowe, and Lois Nemecek.
