Chloe Mitchell Missing – The “high-risk missing person” Chloe Mitchell was last seen in Ballymena sometime between the evening of June 2 and the early hours of June 3. Phillip Mitchell, her brother, asked for information and claimed he was broken by her abduction.

On Saturday morning, a 34-year-old male was detained and is still in police custody. A 26-year-old male was taken into custody on Thursday in Lurgan, County Armagh, and police have been given an additional 36 hours to question him. Police have reiterated their request for information and stated that they are growing more concerned about the young woman’s safety. She should be in communication with her family, who are being helped by specialized police during this stressful time, Supt. Gillian Kearney said on Saturday. “It is completely out of character for her to not be in contact with them.”

“I’m asking anyone who passed through Ballymena’s James Street neighborhood between 22:00 on June 2 and 17:40 on June 8 to consider whether they spotted Chloe or anything out of the ordinary. “I would also kindly ask anyone who has dashcam video from this time to bring it to the police.”

Since Thursday night, searches have been being conducted in and around Ballymena by both the police and the Community Rescue Service. The River Braid, the nearby parklands, the Harryville district, and the Ecos center have all been thoroughly searched. On Saturday, trash cans, riverbanks, and undergrowth were examined.
