Cheryl Montoya Obituary, Death – Our family has been given a blow that will leave us in excruciating pain. Cheryl, who was both my first cousin once removed and the person who shared my birthday with me, passed died unexpectedly two days ago. She leaves behind four children: one who is an adult (and who has two children of her own, as well as one on the way), and three younger children.
One of her children is an adult (and who has two children of her own, as well as one on the way). Two years ago, Cheryl’s spouse lost their battle with the disease Covid and passed away. As a consequence, her children have now been left without a parent for the second time in the period of just two years. In this trying time, we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers and consider making a donation to help ease the financial burden they are experiencing.
A little over a month has passed since she took her two younger children on a trip to Denver, and I cannot begin to convey how thankful I am for the opportunity that has been presented to me. We had a wonderful time laughing together! While she was in town, she went out and bought a shirt for her son that had the Jokic logo on it. I am going to miss her, as well as our yearly texts in which we wished each other a happy birthday and made jokes about how old we are getting. I am going to miss both of these things. Both of those items will be missed by me.
