Cheryl Diane McClatchey Obituary, Death – Cheryl Diane McClatchey, who had spent her whole life in the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on June 4, 2023. She was 66 years old at the time of her passing. Linn Grove, Iowa, was not only the place where Cheryl was born on September 27, 1956, but it was also the place where she spent her childhood. Her childhood home was in Linn Grove.
Her departure occurred following the passing of both of her parents, James McClatchey and Marjorie McClatchey, both of whose deaths occurred before her own. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Sands; her children, Casey (Michele) Luedke, Kevin McClendon, Amanda (Larry) Finch, Ronald Tally, and Samantha McMillon; a vast number of grandkids; two brothers, Steve (Lynn) McClatchey and Terry (Tammy) McClatchey; and a large number of nieces and nephews. She passed away on January 15, 2019. Casey Luedke was her husband at the time.
She is survived by her children as well as by her husband, Curtis Sands, who predeceased her. A funeral service is scheduled to take place at the Warren Chapel AMC Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 22, 2023 at one o’clock in the afternoon. The location of the church is at 503 North Market Street. As an alternative to giving flowers as a sign of commemorative commemoration, one may choose to make a donation to the Warren Chapel Food Pantry instead.
