Calvin Chynoweth Obituary, Death -On June 9, in the wee hours of the morning, Calvin successfully completed the journey to the place he will call home for the rest of his life. We are able to sleep well knowing that he is now at rest, having awakened in the bosom of his heavenly father and being reunited with our earthly parents, both of whom are no longer suffering from the afflictions of this life. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
In the recent days, our family has experienced moments of such profound loss as we have sung and played his favorite songs, prayed over him, and told him how cherished and loved he is. These activities have brought us closer together. We could not have anticipated how difficult it would be to say our goodbyes. As we have confronted this together, there have also been inexplicable moments of joy in our journey through it. Jesus makes the promise that everyone who adheres to him will experience a peace that is beyond human comprehension. This has been shown by each and every one of us.
During this difficult time, we will be forever grateful to everyone who has prayed for us, offered their help and support, and offered words of encouragement to us. Please keep going since we are going to need it for the next step. We are going to pay tribute to our brother’s memories and reflect on the positive aspects of his life by preparing a memorial service. But this is a day for celebrating his bright future. “For this reason, I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all of creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is found in Christ Jesus, our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39
