Bohdan Senkow Obituary, Death – On May 27, 2023, Bohdan A. Senkow, an 80-year-old resident of Clifton Heights, passed away. grew up in Clifton Heights with parents who were immigrants from Ukraine. Bo majored in Political Science and Education while attending Pennsylvania Military College (Widener University) as a civilian student. Later, while working as a history teacher in Philadelphia, Bo started participating in the city’s theater scene. As he performed in more and more plays, he made the decision to enroll in Villanova University’s theatre graduate program, which led to the creation of a unique drama, film, and television department in the Philadelphia School District.

At the same time, he started working in local professional theater as an actor, director, and teacher. After that, he spent two years in London, England, studying at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Mountview Theater Academy. Bo oversaw 120 plays and musical productions. Approximately fifty shows for professional, semi-professional, community theatre, and educational stages also featured him as an actor.

He is survived by his 36-year-old wife Kathleen (Coll) Senkow; his godson Josh Senkow; and his nieces and nephews Walter (Bonnie) Senkow, John (Missy) Senkow, Bruce Senkow, Denise (Phil) Troilo, Gary Senkow, John Cranston, Matt (Cami) Coll, Christina (Bashir) Coll, and Lisa (David) Cranston. Numerous great nieces and nephews are also left behind.
