Bill Barcheers Obituary, Death – We announce the death of one of our own with great sadness. Mr. Bill Barcheers, please. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your many years of service, sir; we shall continue from here. Billy Barcheers was born in Boswell, Oklahoma on December 25, 1943 to Jim and Lois (Green) Barcheers. Billy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968, earning multiple medals, including Expert Rifle Marksman.

Billy married Ruby Inez West on August 3, 1969, upon his return, and settled in Van Alsytne, raising two children. Billy was a truck driver with the CB handle “Half Fast” for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking on his smoker, and spending time with family and friends in his spare time. Billy was very proud of his grandchildren, whom he loved to spoil.

Billy’s wife Ruby, son Guy D. Barcheers and wife Angela of Weston, TX, and daughter Angelia Gibbs of Van Alstyne, TX survive him. Trevor, Rhett, and Chaney Barcheers of Weston, TX, and Ashleigh and Clayton Gibbs of Van Alstyne, TX, are grandchildren. Brothers Jimmy and Ardelia Barcheers of Thackerville, OK, and Gary Barcheers and wife Pam of Tom Bean, TX; sisters Eva Neill and husband Harold (Jr) of Pottsboro, TX, and Sharron Blount and husband Jeffrey (Doc) of Plano; and several nieces and nephews. Billy was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Lois, as well as his brothers Chester, Darrell, Lynn Dale, and Ronnie Barcheers, as well as his sisters Dean Cahill and Bobbie Russell.
