Arthur Heckman Obituary, Death –On Saturday, there was a deadly accident involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), and the victim has been identified. On the evening of Saturday, May 27, 2023, shortly before 5:30 o’clock in the evening, emergency services were dispatched to the Locust Valley Fish and Game Club located at 400 Back Road in Barnesville, Ryan Township, for a unique mission.
An accident involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) was reported, in which the victim had been submerged in water for a considerable amount of time after it occurred.
At 6:02 p.m., Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak of the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to the incident and pronounced Arthur Heckman, 72, a resident of Barnesville, dead at the spot.
According to Szczyglak, who spoke to Skook News, Heckman resided in the area and fished at the pond quite frequently. The initial investigation revealed that Heckman was driving his ATV along the edge of the pond when he accidentally came too close to the water and fell in. This week will likely see the completion of the autopsy.
