Ace Brandt Obituary, Death – On Saturday, October 16, 2021, Ace A. Brandt, 60, of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. On October 29, 1960, Larry and Karen (Seter) Brandt gave birth to their son Ace in Fargo, North Dakota. He graduated from Kindred High School in 1979 and was awarded a certificate. During his time at the institution, he participated in basketball, football, and track and field competitions. One of his alma maters was North Dakota State University.

Larry Brandt went away on September 15, 1979, the year Ace became 18 years old. Ace eventually took over the farming business his father had established as a result. He founded Brandt Holdings in December 1992, and not long after that he was granted his first distributorship for John Deere engines in the state of Iowa. Since the middle of the 1990s through the present, Ace has purchased ownership stakes in 32 John Deere farm dealerships spread out over the Midwest.

Ace now owns one of the world’s largest networks of John Deere agricultural dealerships. With the help of various corporate partners, Ace created the Urban Plains area in southwest Fargo. He was particularly interested in construction and real estate. In 2007, Ace donated money to the Metro Sports Foundation, helping the regional nonprofit organization finance and construct the Scheels Arena in Fargo. The Fargo Force of the USHL call the Scheels Arena their home ice. Ace founded Brandt Hospitality Group in 2017, and it currently oversees 16 properties spread across the United States.

Despite his financial success, Ace remained a humble, courageous, and innovative leader. He had great faith in his team and allowed them lots of freedom. Ace liked to travel, go snow skiing in Napa, do wine tasting in Napa, spend time at the lake with family and friends, and conduct business. He frequently wore cowboy boots, jeans, and Tom Ford clothing, who was also one of his favorite fashion designers. When he wasn’t at the office with the rest of his team, you might find him in the gym exercising.
